Warriors News · Boys Basketball End of Season Player Dinner

FHS Basketball Families,

Thank you so much for your tremendous support throughout the 2020-2021 season.  As you all know we played under unprecedented circumstances all season long.  There were quarantines, postponements, injuries, and other challenging factors to deal with throughout the year.  However, our boys stayed committed and fought through every barrier to have a very successful season.  I am so proud how every team sacrificed for each other in order to have a season.

As with everything this year we are going to celebrate the season differently than we usually do.  Due to the number of participants in boys basketball and logistics surrounding large groups with covid we are choosing to forgo a traditional boys basketball banquet this season (which is in line with many other schools).  This is always one of our favorite events and we are disappointed that it won’t work.  The good news is that we are still going to honor the boys and show them our appreciation with a nice dinner and time of fellowship.  Qdoba will be catering a dinner for all players, coaches, and managers on Monday, April 26th at 7pm in the school library.  After dinner we will bring the boys up by team and individually tell them how great of a job they did season.  They will receive their certificates of participation and any post season awards earned.  This will not be streamed as we are just keeping it simple with players and coaches.  Also, we will be covering the cost at 100% so players will not have to pay for the food.  If any player hasn’t picked up their pictures they will be available and the same goes for senior banners, etc.

Also, we will be collecting ANY uniforms, practice gear, bags, that have not been turned in yet on that night as well.
