Warriors News · Boy’s Basketball: Warrior 40 Weight Lifting Program!

Boys Basketball Families,

We would like to welcome all boys basketball players to be a part of the “Warrior 40” weight lifting program, beginning this week.  The program will take place directly before school each week Wednesday – Saturday (except Spring break week) for the duration of the school year.  That gives us 40 total lifting sessions as a team.  We are also putting in incentives to help motivate our players to stay stick with it all the way through.  Our goal is to be able to physically compete at a higher level and it will take this type of hard work and dedication to make that happen.  Any students that are interested in basketball and are academically satisfying their requirements are welcome to attend these workouts…. More details are below.

What:  “The Warrior 40 Workout Program”

Where:  The FHS weight room

When:  EVERY Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before school generally 6:30AM – 7:10AM but it’s all on the calendar (Check boys b-ball calendar for changes, late start times, etc.)

Why:  In order to compete at a higher level physically


Attend at least 35 sessions and get a “Warrior 40” t-shirt

Attend at least 38 sessions and get a “Warrior 40” t-shirt & Shorts

Make all 40 sessions and get a “Warrior 40” t-shirt, Shorts, and a hat
