Warrior Families,

I hope everyone is having a great start to the school year.  Believe it or not we are about 2 1/2 months away from tryouts for boys basketball.  As always, our staff is committed to offering as many opportunities as possible to help FHS student-athletes prepare for tryouts.  Teams are formed 100% based on how kids perform during tryouts.  However, our goal is to help the players that are driven to improve as much as we can during the off season, which is why we offer fall-summer-spring workouts, leagues, etc.  Student athletes that are participating in a fall sport should NEVER miss any practice, game, or other fall sport activity for basketball. However, dual participation is possible for some workouts/games IF the student-athlete is performing well in the classroom, it is okay with their fall sport coach, and they are driven to continue their development in basketball simultaneously with their fall sport.  This is an individual decision that needs to be made between student-athletes and their parents.

This meeting is for ANY PARENT heavily involved in the basketball program!  Even if your child plays a fall sport and will not participate in fall basketball you are welcome (and encouraged) to attend. There will be vital information regarding fundraising needs, homecoming needs, as well as our schedule and opportunities for fall basketball.

The information is below….

What:  Boys basketball parent/player meetingTopics: Fall Schedule/Fundraising needs/Homecoming Needs/Etc.

Who:  Anyone interesting in participating in fall basketball workouts or knows they will tryout during the season.

When:  Tuesday, August 29th @ 7PM

Where:  A-207 (Health Classroom just past the library upstairs)

Thanks,

Coach Enoch
