Weld Co and Tri Valley Championships

Relays shined (consisting of the Juliana Wyatt, Lilliana Martin, Michela Hewitt, and Nikayta Neu) at the Weld County Meet and Kelly Aragon take off with a new school record last weekend at the Tri Valley Conference meet.  With most of the team experiencing great success in the form of personal records all over the place, the last two weeks have been highlighted by a couple of Weld County Champions and a League Champ.  The girls four by 100 and Sprint medley relay teams of Julia Wyatt, Mikayla Hewitt, Nikayta Neu and Lillianna Martin brought home the 2017 Weld County relay championship batons, earning the title of Weld County Champions.
The next weekend High Jumper Kelly Aragon soared to a season, and all time personal best, setting a new school record and winning the title of Tri-Valley Conference Champion.  Her jump of 5 feet 4.5 inches sets her in fourth place in the state rankings with one week left to go before the state Champions ships.  Join us Friday in Fort Collins for the John Martin Invitational, and support the Warriors as the make one last attempt to qualify for state.
