Meet Recap

The Frederick High Girls Golf Team finished fourth in Erie’s Tri-Valley league tournament on Tuesday, May 2 at a challenging Colorado National Golf Club. Posting their lowest team total of the year of 292, Erin Baum again led the team with a 90 (9th place individual), Payton Wallace contributed a career-low round of 99 (14th individual), and Cassie Palmer added a 103 (18th individual). The team total edged out Skyline for fourth place by two shots, and was only three shots behind third-place Berthoud.

Having all three players place in the top 20 individual scores on a rather difficult golf course is a noteworthy accomplishment, and indicates that Frederick High is establishing itself as a very competitive team in our league.
